The "Club": Otherwise known as the Petz Equine Club. It is an equine registry for all-breeds (including Grade Horses and Ponies) to compete at approved shows.

All-Breed: Every breed in the club, often signifying all purebreds allowed to compete.

Approved Judge: A judge that may open an approved equine competition.

Grade Horse: Horses from non-purebred lineage or those that don't fit their standard. They are registered as Grade Horses. (This includes the draft horses and miniature horses)

Grade Pony: Ponies from non-purebred lineage or those that don't fit their standard. They are registered as Grade Ponies. (Does not include miniature horses)

Halter: Type of show for judging an equine against their standard. Same as judging their conformation.

Mare: Female equine.

Pending Judge: A judge that is pending approval from the owners of the club. They may not hold official shows until they are an approved judge.

Performance Event: Type of show for judging an equine on how well they complete pre-determined tasks. Such as in dressage trials.

Registered Equine (or Horse): Equine has a registration number and therefore may compete in specific Club competitions.
